Pinakamalalaking barko ng PCG at CCG, nagpalitan ng radio challenge sa Escoda shoal
Dalawang araw nang nakaangkla sa Escoda Shoal ang tinaguriang monster ship ng China Coast Guard malapit sa BRP Teresa Magbanua ng Pilipinas. Ayon sa Philippine Coast Guard, posibleng layon ng CCG na ma-intimidate o takutin ang mga sakay ng BRP Teresa Magbanua na lampas kalahati lang ang laki kumpara sa barko ng China. Ilang araw na rin ang palitan ng radio challenges ng dalawang barko.
